Reskew

Brooklyn, NY, US

Biography

Reskew is the creative director and head artist for the personally funded ego-profit exterior design and urban resuscitation foundation. Only starting with crayons and watercolors, expressing his conditioned essence straight from the soular plexus with abstract designs, Reskew regressed deeper into his ego mask as he went through failed attempts at the basic assimilation processes bestowed by society. Eventually ending up under the wing of the notorious All City Crew from Brooklyn in 2006, he expanded his early childhood habit of drawing on walls to covering hundreds of areas all over the city. Six months into the rampage he was sitting in the Queens county court facing one to three years in prison for doodleing in a dark subway tunnel on the L line in Bushwick, Brooklyn.
Self mastery is now the light of his life.
Reskew was part of the Writers Strike art gallery featured in the New York Daily News, Vibe, and Urban Ink magazines. The crowd flooded the gallery for its entire 3 hour opening reception with a line out the door.
Soon after, Reskew was invited to expose his art solo at club Sapphire in manhattan by curator Michael Ricardo Andreev.
RW was also one of the 100 young Americans featured in the book 100 Young Americans and the April 2008 issue of Psychology Today magazine.
Look for RESKEW's interview in the upcoming 4th issue of Bombin' Magazine to hit Barnes and Noble internationally and your local newsstand in NYC soon!
